Highlights of New Variable Annuity Contract Filings in July, 2008
In July, we tracked two new contracts, a bonus contract from MetLife filed in national and NY versions, and a B-share from Prudential. Due to be released in November, the new MetLife contract has a 6% bonus and a full complement of living benefits. The filing also includes a February amendment with a bonus recapture schedule for contracts annuitized within the first four years. Prudential will be launching ASAP 2008 II, which also includes Xtra Credit Six and Lifevest II.
